Weapons Course 16th January 2027

Join us on Saturday 16th January 2027 for a full day of Aikido weapons training, suitable for all levels and abilities, from beginners through to experienced practitioners.

With multiple experienced instructors teaching throughout the day, the course offers a fantastic opportunity to learn, develop and refine your weapons practice while training alongside other Aikidoka.

Training for Every Level

To ensure everyone gets the most from the course, sessions will be split according to experience and ability where appropriate. This allows students to work at a level that is both challenging and enjoyable, while giving everyone the opportunity to receive focused instruction and make meaningful progress.

Whether you’re completely new to weapons work or have many years of experience, there will be something for you.

Refreshments & Lunch

We will provide fresh fruit and drinking water between sessions to help keep everyone refreshed.

We recommend that participants bring a packed lunch, although food and hot drinks can also be purchased from the leisure center café.

Staying Overnight?

If you’re travelling from further afield and need somewhere to stay, there is a Travelodge at Maypole, approximately 5 minutes from the dojo. It’s a convenient option for anyone wanting to stay locally before or after the course.
